Wow – a disappointing announcement which makes me think it will not be long before Sensis is exported to India. Bit of a twisted thinking you might say, but hear me out.

Over the last couple of years some of the more respected people at Sensis have been surely but quietly departing. In the last year there have been at least 2 extremely well placed people that have departed. And now, they are saying goodbye to Bruce. Bruce Akhurst, Current CEO of Sensis, who has been CEO for the last few years, has today announced he has resigned his position as CEO (mind you, Not until after he got his pay rise which I am sure would have added a hefty chunk to his departure bonus…).

Is this a curtain call for the Australian call centre’s that Sensis (solely responsible for selling Yellow & White Pages, among other products) have maintained?
Seeing as though all of the people that were reassuring employee’s their jobs were safe have now left, How long will it take for the new ceo to decide to cut costs that little bit more? How long til at least a trial centre is set up in India to follow the likes of Westpac, and its own parent company Telstra?

We will see… but will post with more updates when i find out more info…

3 Reasons why Free Range Eggs beat Caged.

Why free range eggs are better than caged..

I went through the last couple of years just buying free range eggs because of the feel good factor.

(and don’t get me wrong, I do honestly like the fact that the chickens get to run around at least in a barn if not in open fields, understand the troubles that farmers would have increased, such as foxes, weasels, whatever other predators there are to free ranging chooks, but also am willing to pay the slight extra amount to give these chickens the best life they can have).

HOWEVER…. Are free range eggs actually better than Caged? As an end Product? If so why? Well I found this out by chance lately when i went to the supermarket with my dad. He has no interest in the free range vs. caged eggs debate, and is simply out there for the “cheapest, that’ll do” type of thing.

So as a result, long story short, I ended up buying caged. And learnt an obvious but good lesson. Caged eggs suck.

Very simplified statement, but it is true. Number one would have to be the thickness of the shell’s themselves. I presume because free range chooks are happier, healthier, whichever, the eggs themselves come out stronger, more solid & have better coloured shells. Not sure why the colour makes a difference, or if it is just a result of a thicker shell, but here is the real life difference it makes. The harder the egg shell, the less shattering.

For someone who can easily crack an egg with one hand, (lifetime of multitasking, no training required, aren’t i great ??) when I made this mistake the first time with caged eggs, i spent the next ten minutes picking egg shells out of the egg.

The harder the shell, the less shattering, which means unless your very careful (compared to what you have to be to crack a normal egg) the shell will end up in whatever your eating. Number two – Size does matter.

When you get used to using 65 or 70gm eggs, you expect a certain amount out of your egg. However (and i do not understand how this happens, unless the weight of the caged egg per bit of liquid is just heavier?) the caged eggs are smaller.

No doubt about it. unfortunately you don’t realise this until your half way through making whatever you have made.

Single egg, no big deal. But if your using more than one egg in a meal, you really start to notice how little you have.

the example I am thinking of in my head is French toast. Nothing worse than falling short when it comes to french toast mix (such a first world problem!). But an annoyance all the same. Nummber three would have to be Colour of the yolk. Its just different.

there is a nice deep colour in one (free Range), and a lighter sunnier colour in the other. this makes a difference in taste, i think. Well, i am putting the difference in taste down to this anyway.

An egg has a nice, thick, creamy consitency, rather than a liquidy, not so thick consistency, even when cooked. There you go.

There are my top three reasons for prefering Free range eggs to Caged. I know i haven’t hit on any of the chooks being in a tight cage no bigger than their bodies, the chicks being proccessed in a very harsh way, the hormones being pumped into the chook, etc.

But to be honest, if you care about that stuff, your probably buying free range eggs already.

I’m approaching 30 now & its nearly ten years on from September the 11th 2001 & the massive 911 truth-ers craze of the World Wide Web of Conspiracies travelling the internet & the world.

I rented a room off a mate for a few years who was into conspiracies & all that, I have a very open mind about most things and I am usually a good listener, So I listened. & I Listened. & I listened some more.

We all know Cover-ups happen & there is corruption in the world, there is no denying it, however the more I listened the more these far fetched idea’s became less and less crazy they sounded.

And against all my usual rational & logic, Literally just by constantly listening & letting this individual rant on Again & Again, I actually started to Believe there was a THEY (Illuminati, Lizard King, Modern Faros etc.) who controlled everything with absolute power existed.

As I started to believe these THEY people actually existed my Logic & Rational kicked in with every Supposed THEY caused problem I was proposed & searched for a true cause & solution.

Although every conversation with this individual usually ended with ‘And there is nothing We can do about it.’ that was something I could never accept.

I found many solutions & answers to many problems, so I thank him for unknowingly challenging me. However I don’t wish to go into to many details of my Findings or Solutions to all the they problems proposed, well not in this post anywayz. (I will post more about this in Thoughts Of The Nogginator in the near future)

I’m not saying the Illuminati, Free Masons or that many other secret societies don’t exist, I will just say in this post I’ve found there isn’t a THEY, well not ONE ABSOLUTE. Its just as any Rational person would assume. Just Lots and lots of different THEY’s creating Lots and lots of different frictions / problems in the world.

What I want to to Say in this post is there was I lot of crap that I bought into & believed but one thing that still Baffles Me, still to this day (And as I said I’m a Rational Person so bear with me for the rest of the post).

The Pentagon Crash!!!

I watched the TV life I recon for 48 hrs Straight after the first plane hit the tower (Thinking It was the end of the would or the beggining of WW3) & I saw alot of things that don’t add up & Might well support the Pentagon conspiracy. well some off them…

I first discovered this “911 Pentagon Conspiracy” in believe it or not through an article in (FHM Magazine) & once again through logic & rational I was intrigued & investigated further & I found this video.

Its Not the original version of the Video but an edited however its the only remaining version I’ve found of this video I saw many years ago, other than SWF files floating about the web.

Whilst I have come to not believe alot of what all the Conspiracy Theorists / 911 Truth-ers said I found it totally mind boggling that they though people would believe a Passenger Jet hit the pentagon?…

The original film showed alot more modelling, stats & facts & I checked these & they were correct to all published knowledge I had found. It just didn’t add up. Things I saw once on the Live news broadcast and then Never again explained were shown in photo’s of dump trucks & diggers dumping soil & making soil trail? Footage & Photos from minutes after impact showed a burned front of building, however all concrete window frames were still all intact for at least 15 minutes after impact. the video above explains the basic explanation in which I am talking about, but it seems some of the Rational evidence has been edited out..

Anyway I’m not one to start blaming, this is just something that is still unexplained in my mind.

Rather than some far fetched Scenario like the US Government is Behind some Giant conspiracy & is accountable for all the 911 attacks. I believe it is more likely that after the attack on the twin towers and once they new the plane had been hijacked the Air Force most likely shot the plane down & most likely the same for the plane that crashed in PA.

These 2 possible cover ups most likely sparked the Whole 1 BIG 911 Conspiracy craze.

the PA crash it was I guess noble to say the passengers broke in to cock pit after hearing about the towers & crashed their own plane to save the many. However again more likely that Air Force shot it down (For National Security – Off Course). They showed the evidence of the Passenger jet that crashed in PA.

And after seeing the photo’s & video’s over the years & summing up the evidence its more Likely a Tomahawk or Drone hit the building.

What happened to the plane that supposedly hit the pentagon??? I Don’t know!!

But again its more likely that they air force knew the flight had been hi-jacked & front its direction worked out it was heading for the pentagon & shot it down? (Again I’m only speculating)

One thing I notice however, that contradicts alot of what I have written above, is that I remember reading 1999-2000 / Pre-911 an article & hearing on the news that all American Airlines had been installed with a Quote “Anti-Hijacked System” in which the controls of all US Passenger flights could be overridden & remote controlled and flown back to safety. from what I recall this wasn’t something of the future this was installed in all US Passenger Jets!!! So on this my question is… WHY Didn’t they use this technology & prevent this Tragedy from happening.

Anywayz thats my short take on this subject.

I know I’m starting to sound like a 911 Truth-er myself, but If I don’t know something, I Ask! If you don’t give me a rational answer I’ll keep asking until i’m given one.

I grew up in a very multi-cultural Town, Had many friends of All Different Ethnic Decent.

It Wasn’t until I got much older the World Began to Tell us we were different from each other & that were not the same by any means. We all went to the same school, had mostly the same views & morals etc. I always Defended my friends, As we do. But as we grew older, The Usual Hate in the world seemed to turn, Blank and Without any Reason Suddenly It wasn’t About The Clothes we wore or the People we hung out with, It Became So Stupid, whilst now I can find Cause but Still to this day I cannot Find Reason. (By this point your probably Screaming What….)

There are good people & F*#k heads from every country, race, ethnicity, intelligence, trade & religion in the world.

I Could go on & on, but I hate people who try to force their views on me & I ain’t gonna preach to You. Not Now. Not Ever…

All I really wanted to say is in the title of this post…

A pack of 12 fun sized mars bars.

A pre mix pack of flake batter. (Don’t use beer batter – it does not work..)

Mix your batter according to the pack

Pre heat your deep fryer to normal chip temperature.

Dip your mars bars in the batter. Only do this one at a time when you are ready to cook.

Using tongs, trying to leave as much batter on the mars bars as possible, drop them into the deep fryer.

keep a careful eye on the battered mars bar & as soon as it starts turning golden, remove from the deep fryer.

Repeat the process for as many mars bars as you think you can stomach.. and be prepared to not be able to eat them all!

these are one of the richest sweetest fattiest deserts I have had. put alongside some vanilla ice cream, it is almost like a mars bar fritter…

I used to get these from my local fish & Chip shop, But they wont do it any more as they claim it changes the taste of the oil..

but it doesnt stop me having them at home!!!

1 pack penne pasta

1 tub sour cream

One bottle cream (600mls)

one slab of butter (500gms)

1/2 pack shredded cheese (250gms)

Boil the pasta as you normally would, in a pot with a pinch of salt, following the directions on the back of the pack.

In a seperate saucepan, Combine all ingredients except the cheese. Once the ingredients are combined, heat slowly to just below a boil, turn down & let the sauuce thicken, constantly stirring so it does not burn or stick to the pot.

Once you have finished cooking the sauce, and after the pasta is ready, extinguish the heat & quickly stir in the cheese.

Mix with the drained pasta & serve immediately.

This will serve anywhere from 3 – 8 people, depending on how much you eat.

if you want to cook less or more, cut the portions accordingly.

Warning though – This is a VERY cheesy fatty, high cholesterol pasta sauce. If you want to cut the fat content, you can use low fat sour cream, cream cheese & low fat & low cholesterol butter.. But I am not sure it will make a lot of difference..

Another thing – If you want to add Bacon & Mushroom, you will have one of the creamiest cabonara’s you have ever experienced.

On one hand we have a military minded society of people, including the government & defense forces, who have for years been keeping certain documents & “Classified” information secret for years.

On the other we have a so called journalist who has in many different ways managed to get his hands on these supposedly confidential items, and without permission from anyone gone blatantly about plastering the whole articles on his website, for the world to see.

Now considering some of these documents include confidential discussions between different influential people, from politicians to army officials, State department documents & Releasing formerly covert plans & policies, it should probably not come as a surprise to people that the man responsible for leaking the information is being labelled a terrorist and criminal. Just too name a couple.

But why is this having such an effect on the government anyway?

I have always been of the opinion that you have nothing to fear if you have done nothing wrong. you have also learnt nothing unless you can admit that yes you could have done some things differently, or yes, you plain stuffed up. it feels to me that if i should have these standards for myself, then it doesnt seem unfair of me to expect them from my government.

Now in no way am I saying that i want to know everything that is going on, nor do I want to be consulted for my opinion in every decision the government has to make. But when it comes to decisions that may drastically change or threaten my way of life, I think you should be prepared to take some accountability ofthe consequences of the decision you make.

Unless you take the time ot consult me, when the consequencves of your actions are that powerful, for example if we are talking about going to war, where you may be taking my Brother, my Father, even my Son, then i thinnk you need to realise that if you stuff up, you have to answer for it.

It feels like on the biggest part of it, the governments are throwing these names about, calling the man responsible for these documents being released is the one responsible for the repercussions as well. And I hate to be the one to tell you, he is not.

When something is revealed and you can’t refute it, when you know you have done something inexcusable & some one has revealed the details of it to those you are most answerable to – the people you represent, You need to be prepared. Someone once told me, a Secret is only a secret provided no more than 5 people know about it. If more than 5 people know what it is your trying to hide, you won’t be able to hide it. So expect what is coming.

Even more so though is the question – If you knew you stuffed up to the extent it has been proven, and you tried to cover it up, what makes you think you deserve the position you hold anyway?

Why would we want someone like you responsible for keeping our families safe, and the one holding the trigger to send them off to war?

And on a slightly other tangent of this same argument – Seriously, who the hell tries to get someone extradited on trumped up charges in this day & age??

I am not saying that the people involved in this certain case are lying fraudulent people that have probably been paid very well.

What i am saying is would it be so hard, if all you really want to do is interview him, to send one or two of your officers over to where he is to ask what needs to be asked? Surley easier than an extradition proceeding…

While going down that train of thought though, you have to ask yourself, ok, but who gives him the right to reveal military & government secrets, just because he can? And in the same boat, who are these people that think it is right to go against not only their employer, but also their country, and reveal secret classified information that may put peoples lives at risk? Seemingly unimportant information in the western world, such as which of the international diplom,ats Hillary Clinton likes & Dislikes, or Who is taking over from a Pakistan leader, Zardari in the event of his assassination, they may well end up to be life endangering information. Who is to say that the successor of Zardari is not now going to be assassinated, because now the want to be leaders know who it is. Who is to say that entire countries relationships will nto crumble due to some inappropriate comments made by politicians when they thought their conversation was being discussed?

Some Information I do believe should be made public. Such as was there really a reason for America to invade? Should we reeally be as scared of some of these so called “Terrorists” as we fear we should?

And at the same time, maybe some information should be kept quiet, such as locations of secret military bases behind enemy lines. but in saying that, so far Wikileaks has remained pretty orphan like. It belongs to no country so therefore reveals about any country it can get its hands on.

In saying that it is obviously easier for him to get his hands on American documents than any other country. But what gives him the right? Who makes him the person who gets to decide wether the locations of troops currently overseas gets to be revealed to the enemy they are trying to infiltrate, provuded they have a pc & basic internet? Especially seeing as thoguh this decision has already been made by people in a much more

well informed position, although maybe with different motives, but still people in better positions to know the full story behind any of these documents & having presumably discussed wether it would be in the publics best interests to release or suppress these documents. Having decided to supress them, who is he to decide thta he knows better, and the public should know everything.

In reality it is not going to matter too much. There are still the majority of people out there who just do not care. it can be shown in every country that has a non mandatory (even those that do have a mandatory) voting system. When do you ever get 100% vote? Never. because there are a huge amoutn of people out there who simply vote because they like the flavour. they have no real interest in policies, because even when their chosen party releases a poicy they dont agree on, do they vote for the other guy at the next election? No. They vote for their flavour.

This just highlights peoples natural instinct these days to look out for number one. Look after themselves & not care what is going on in the bigger picture, provded their paycheck doesnt get smaller & their family keeps being happy. and we all know ignorance is bliss. So maybe that is the trick. maybe that is the problem. it is not that this guy is releasign documents that could damage a nation. it is nothign like that. A government can always elect new people & the people can always throw out a government. What it comes down to is the individual embarressment of the people involved. the embarresment & shame, as well as inevitable loss of personal income when the mistakes are found to be damaging to wherever they work, or more so whoever they work for. And the crying out of names & the false accusations of terrorism really only come down to the simplest thing of all – people are scared. They are scared because he has somehow managed to get himself the power to bring these things full frontal to the people involved & the people who will demand answers. In a way this makes me wonder if he has ever really looked at the consequences of the release of these documents, not form a personal point of view, well for himself, but from the personal view of what this would

do to some of the people involved lives? Families may be destroyed, careers will definately be ruined & if it continues how it is expected, provided the website comes back online, There are going to be more & more people put in the firing line.

But again. One last time. What if they are all wrong? What if the reality of the situation is that we cannot change this fromhapppening.people cover up for their mistakes all the time. It is human nature.

Protect yourself – hope that no one realises what you have done & try & go on about your life ina normal way. People do it when they cheat on their partners, they do it when they steal. Some people get it when they pick up a 5 cent piece from the ground. i guess it depends on how high your morals really are.. But in any case, it will hap-pen again. Big companies or high ranking government officials will make mistakes that potentially casue the loss of lives, incomes, etc. it will happen & we may or may not find out about it. We may or may nto find thta the people we believed responsible enough to run the country have made huge errors because they were trying not tio show the egg on their faces. when this time comes do we want them to answer to their actions & take responsibility for the situaions they have caused?

Do we want them to ask us & get our informed decision before they make any moves? Or do we want to end up like Amercan idol & text in our vote after watching the 2 hour brief earlier in the evening?

The truth is, it will happen again, mistakes will be made and a very good question to ask, the only one that seems relevant now is will they bother to tell us? or will we hear from some guy on the other side of the road, who probably doesnt even really know what he is publishing? Because I would kind of prefer that I was told straight.

For a bit of a change, i thought i might share my views on the new Miley Cyrus (a.k.a. ex & Best known Hannah Montana). Because we must call that new.

As you can probably tell by now, this is not going to be positive. So if you are a big fan, I advise you to look away right now. If you happen to be Billy Ray Cyrus, Definately keep reading. Please.

This is one little girl who has gone way too far, too fast. I do not se anything wrong with a girl her age wanting to start making their image more attractive to girls who are over the age of 12. And guys.

However, There is sa huge difference with wanting to seem more grown up and wanting to appear slutty. Surely this girl has enough people who love her around her that are kind enough to point out that a girl who is 17 should probably not be wearing a Beyonce could JUST pull it off green leotard out in public, let alone in front of thousands of people.

Not to mention the latest film clip I have seen where she is in a birdcage with wings & black knee high boots, fishnet stockings and hair boofed up to what I can only guess is as high as it would go. The first 15 seconds of the film clip is fine.. Until it turns into a sleazy, much too old video.

WHY is it that a girl these days feels the need to dress in such adult clothes? And more to the point, why are the Mothers and Fathers not teaching their kids to respect themselves more? Why are Miley’s not smart enough, especially seeing as though he at least has ahd a fairly successful career in the music industry, to look back not that many years and have a look at what pressure like that can do to kids. Such as Britney Spears for example. You can tell that growing up fast has done her a lot of good.

It is so frustrating that these days we not only have more violence amongst our kids, there are less manners every day and now we are teaching them that if you wanna be like Hannah Montana, when you reach 17 you too should be a cage dancer.

How to Make the Best Home made Sour Sherbet

Ingredients:

2 (500 g) * boxes of Jelly Crystals (this makes the main flavouring…. ie. if your want cherry sherbet buy cherry Jelly Crystals)

1 – 2 (25g) * Tartic Acid (note this adds a Sour element to the sherbet add to your required taste)

1 – 2 (25g) * Citric Acid (note this adds a Sour element to the sherbet add to your required taste)

I recommend a quarter to a half of a 25g container of both Citric & tartic Acid if your note a big fan of to much Sour.

about 40% – 55% Icing Sugar (The Icing Sugar levels out & blends the flavours together to make the final sherbet product)

slowly mix, blend and Taste until you get your ideal perfect sherbet flavour.

Four easy steps to make Home Made HONEYCOMB in under 20 Minutes

How to make Home Made HONEYCOMB
(this recipe can be dangerous, stove temperature can reach over 300 degree Celcius !!)

Ingedients:
6 tbs white sugar
2 tbs golden syrup or honey
2 tsp water
1 tsp bicarbonate of soda

1.) Put 2 tbs of golden syrup or honey, 6 tbs of white sugar and 2 tsp of water in a in a saucepan and stir over a gentle heat until the sugar is totally dissolved.

2.) Bring to the boil and boil for sevral minutes or until all sugar grains have dissolved. (Be Careful not to burn)

3.) Remove Pan from heat and quickly add the 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda. (At this point the mixture will froth) Stir quickly and pour into a pre greased lamington tin (will fill about a 30cm X 20cm container). ( Just remember to be careful not to add too much bicarb soda )

4.) As the mixture starts to cool, mark into pieces. When cold, break into pieces and Enjoy.

Make sure you store in an air tight jar.

NOTE: If you muck around with food colouring, you can make Purple, Blue, Red, Green or any coloured honeycomb you can think of, even coloured swirls through the honeycomb.
For Best Results, Don’t add food dye until just before your going to add the bicarb

FUN STUFF:

1. You Can get some milk chocolate or dark chocolate, melt it and pour it over the honeycomb to make your own version of Crunchie or Violet Crumble..

2. You Can crushed the honeycomb into pieces over ice cream & create a delicious tasting hokey pokey ice cream..

3. just 1 or 2 drops of Green Food Dye and You have Shrek Honey Comb!!!

4. AeroBlock.

1. create square block of green home made honeycomb.
2. Melt melting chocolate, pour over top of already set honeycomb.
3. Let Set??

5. Chewy Honey Comb - You can also make the honeycomb chewy instead of crunchy by adding 1 tbs of Olive oil white it’s on the boil.
